Olaf Knechten

Olaf Knechten was born and grew up in Germany’s Lower Rhine area close to the Dutch border. He studied painting in Cologne and translation at Westminster University in London where he obtained a Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

He translates from Dutch, French and English into German. Dutch translations include books by Esther Verhoef, Willem Asman und Jacob Israël de Haan.
