Astrid Haerens

Astrid Haerens (b. 1989) writes prose, poetry and non-fiction. Her work explores, amongst other things, the physical and sensory aspects of writing. Her debut novel 'Urban Leopards' was published in 2017, and her debut poetry collection 'Irish Elk' was published in 2022. 'Irish Elk' won several poetry prizes and has been translated into various languages. In 2026, 'Erosion' was published, a novel about the pain of a friendship breakup.
