Bob Vanden Broeck

Bob Vanden Broeck (b. 1987) is an art historian, writer and poet. He teaches art and cultural history in Antwerp and has published widely on contemporary art and poetry. In November 2023, he made his debut with the poetry collection ‘the direction is towards redirection’. The book was warmly received and earned him the Poetry Debut Prize, an initiative of Poëziecentrum and deAuteurs (2024), followed in 2025 by the Debutants’ Prize awarded by the Society of Dutch Literature.
