Esohe Weyden

Esohe Weyden (b. 1999) is a writer and poet, as well as a lawyer and presenter. She first brought her poetry to the stage in 2017, and from 2021 to 2023 she was campus poet at the University of Antwerp. In 2022 she made her debut with the poetry collection ‘Relay Language’, which won her the PrixFintro Prize and earned her a nomination for the C. Buddingh’ Prize. Since 2025 she has been city poet of Antwerp. Her second collection, ‘Navigating Without a Compass’, was published in February 2025.
