Johanna Spaey

Johanna Spaey (b. 1966) studied assyriology and philosophy. She has written three novels on World War I. Her debut, ‘Death of a Soldier’, immediately won the Dutch Gouden Strop and the Flemish Hercules Poirot Prize.
