Leen Huet

Leen Huet (b. 1966) studied art history and philosophy in Leuven and Florence. She is the author of novels, stories and essays. In 2006 she published the first Dutch translation of Rubens’ letters and along with Jan Grieten she wrote a biography of Rubens’ friend and patron, the mayor of Antwerp Nicolaas Rockox (2010). With Pieter Bruegel she returns to an early love, the art of the sixteenth century.
