Lieselot Mariën

Lieselot Mariën (b. 1986) studied philosophy and law at the KU Leuven. She has worked as a lawyer and as an actor, and currently creates audio dramas and documentaries. ‘Like the Animals’, a poetic yet harrowing exploration of postnatal depression, is her debut novel.
