Andreea Bălteanu

Andreea Bălteanu (b. 2001) was born in Constanța and holds a bachelor’s degree in Dutch and German Language and Literature from the University of Bucharest. She also holds a master’s degree from the Ghent University, where she wrote her dissertation on the diachronically representation and function of animals in Dutch bestiaries. She now works as a Dutch teacher. Since 2024 she participates in the CELA project, thanks to which her translated fragments have been published in 'Dilema Veche', 'Obstervator Cultural' and 'Familia'. Her main areas of interest include literature and translation studies and multilingualism.
