Isabel Lorda

Isabel Lorda (b. 1956) has a degree in Hispanic Studies (University of Madrid), and until 2004 she taught Spanish language and literature at various schools in Spain. Later on she worked in the cultural sector for Instituto Cervantes in the Netherlands, UK and Italy. Alongside translations of literary articles for newspapers and magazines, since 1996 she has translated into Spanish work by authors including Cees Nooteboom, Harry Mulisch, Louis Couperus, Arnon Grunberg, Lulu Wang, H.M van den Brink, Johan Brouwer, Hagar Peters, Tim Krabbé and Martin Michael Driessen among others.
