Urban Lindström

Urban Lindström (b. 1975) studied Dutch at the University of Gothenburg and Stockholm University, and Afrikaans at the University of Pretoria. He translates both contemporary and classic fiction and non-fiction from German, Afrikaans, and Dutch into Swedish, including acclaimed novels by authors such as Ferdinand Bordewijk, Johan Daisne, and Peter Terrin. In addition to his work as a translator, he is also active as an editor and literary critic and frequently writes afterwords to the works he translates.
