Alain Verster

Alain Verster’s (b. 1984) work boasts an individual signature and a unique voice. He makes collages that have a distinctly nostalgic feel to them. By using old photographs combined with crêpe paper tape, pencil, acrylic paint and oil paint, he creates sober illustrations, containing lots of little details that tell their own story. His work is often seasoned with a pinch of surreal humour.
