Erika Raven

Erika Raven (b. 1963) is an artist, illustrator, designer and the first woman to win the Bronzen Adhemar, the most prestigious prize awarded to comic artists in Flanders. She has created a variety of comic book series since 1986. When Maarten Vande Wiele asked her to write a scenario for Paris, she agreed to do so. In addition to her comic books, Raven also wrote ‘The Bitch’ (Het Kreng), an exposé of the modern career woman.
