Femke Vindevogel (b. 1978) is a writer, illustrator and music teacher. She has published poems and short stories in various literary magazines and anthologies. Her debut novel Jam Street came out in 2019 and was nominated for the Bronzen Uil, a prize awarded annually for the best debut novel written in Dutch. It is currently being adapted into an opera, with Vindevogel herself reworking the text into a libretto. Vindevogel is not afraid to make her characters both highly original and colourful.
