Geert Vervaeke

Geert Vervaeke (b. 1956) illustrates children’s books and designs book covers. Vervaeke lives and works in Antwerp, but she has also lived in Singapore, an experience that strongly influenced her art. In her work as an illustrator, she prefers to use mixed media, including combinations of watercolours, coloured pencils and pen and ink. She does not adhere to one particular style, exhibiting a great variety in her work, but always making her own mark.
