Ilah

Ilah (°1971), the pseudonym (and acronym) of Inge Liesbeth Alfonsina Heremans, is one of Flanders’ most famous cartoonists. She made her name with comics and graphic columns for two quality Flemish newspapers and a handful of magazines. Her best-known character is Cordelia, whose experiences have also been collected in book form. She describes her work as ‘semi-autobiographical’.
