Ivo Victoria

Ivo Victoria (b. 1971) is a novelist and writes columns and short stories for various magazines and newspapers. He is a regular on the (literary) stage as a performer, interviewer and presenter. The emotional mix of autobiographical-documentary elements and blatant fiction lend his novels a certain intensity. This is reinforced by the unmistakable charm of Victoria’s ease with words: his writing is dazzling, clear and fast-paced. And despite living and working in Amsterdam for many years, in his novels he frequently revisits the Flanders of his youth.
