Jan Caeyers

Jan Caeyers (b. 1953) is a symphony conductor and  musicologist. He studied, worked and lived for  many years in Vienna, specializing in eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century music. He founded the Beethoven Academy, with which he has performed in Europe’s major concert halls, and he has served as a guest conductor for numerous orchestras and opera houses. He lectures at the Catholic University of Leuven.
