Jan Van Dyck
Jan Van Dyck is active in the theatre and audiovisual sectors. He has worked as dramaturg, writer, director and translator. He worked at KNS and Toneelhuis, and coached young theatremakers at Kunstcentrum Villanella. Since 2011 he has he has been a lecturer in the film department of Luca School of Arts. Van Dyck has translated work by writers such as B.M. Koltès, Marius von Mayenburg, Thomas Jonigk, Peter Stamm and Arthur Miller. In collaboration with Tom Van Dyck he has also adapted various novels by Louis Paul Boon for the stage. Tom Van Dyck and Jan Van Dyck have recently adapted Yves Petry’s novel ‘Man is Everywhere. A Murder Fantasy' into a theatre monologue.
