Pavla van Dam Marková

Pavla van Dam Marková studied in Prague and Rotterdam languages and finance. She translates from Dutch since 2003 and her work covers fiction, nonfiction, literature for children and young adults, scenarios. Besides translating, she works in the insurance industry. Literary works include Sonny Boy  ('Sonny Boy') by Annejet van der Zijl, I was America ('Ik was Amerika') by Gustaaf Peek and theater scenario ‘Out of Mind’ ('Hersenschimmen') based on the book by J. Bernlef.
