Suzanne Grotenhuis

Suzanne Grotenhuis (b. 1985) is an author, actress and theatremaker. She has performed in shows made by various Dutch and Flemish theatre companies including Toneelhuis, Het nieuwstedelijk and Toneelgroep Amsterdam, as well as making her own solo shows On Ice and Holy Shit. Since 2017 she has been part of the core artistic team at De Nwe Tijd theatre company where, in collaboration with Freek Vielen and Rebekka de Wit, she has made several shows including ‘The Shell Trial'. 2023 saw the publication of her debut novel ‘Where are the clouds', a plea for less self-care, which was nominated for De Bronzen Uil literary prize in 2024.
