Corona-update: working from home again

As of 28 July we will be working from home again. This is the result of an increase in the number of corona infections in Flanders and the measures introduced by the authorities to prevent further escalation.

It goes without saying that we are still available to answer any questions you might have. However, please send us an email as you currently can't reach us over the phone. We will then get back to you as soon as possible. You can find the email addresses of all the team members here.

Grant applications processed as usual

There’s no need to worry about your grant application. Our team will process all applications as usual. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Translator's House

The Translators’ House has reopened earlier this month and the first guests have arrived. For the rest of the year, we have quite a full schedule. We sincerely hope that no changes or cancellations will need to be made, but that will of course depend on the further evolution of the corona situation.

Meanwhile, there are still rooms available, but only in December. If you would like to apply, please note that we do need to take into account the government measures. This means that your stay is going to be different than usual. If you are planning on applying for a stay at the Translators’ House, be sure to inform yourself on the government measures and the travel advice for your country of residence as well as for Belgium. If you have any questions, please send an email to

Travel grants

Travel restrictions and cancelled events may have an impact on travel grant applications. Please send us an email if you have any questions about this, so that we can try to look for a solution together.
