Irina Michajlova

Irina Michajlova (b. 1955) is a professor of Dutch language, literature and culture at the department of Scandinavian and Dutch Philology, Faculty of Philology, St.Petersburg State University.

In 2005 she was awarded the NLPVF Vertalersprijs. In 2011, she received the RusPrix Award (an initiative conducted under the patronage of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Netherlands). This award was given to her because of her personal contribution to the cultural exchange between Russia and the Netherlands. In 2015, she was elected a foreign honorary member of the Royal Academy of Dutch Language and Literature (Ghent).
