Iryna Koval

Iryna Koval (b. 1979) has been living in the Netherlands since 2000. After obtaining her B.Sc. at Kyiv National University she got her M.Sc. and later her Ph.D. from Leiden University. She started working as a literature translator in 2016, focusing on children’s and youth books. Iryna currently lives nearby Utrecht with her Dutch husband and two kids and visits Ukraine regularly. Her most important translation works include books by Tosca Menten, Mariken Jongman and Karina Schaapman.
