Laura Pignatti

Laura Pignatti (b. 1963) graduated with a degree in literary translation in 1987. Since then, she translates full-time for Italian publishers, primarily fiction and youth books and, on occasion, nonfiction. Her more than 160 translated literary works include prose by Marcellus Emants, Stefan Hertmans, Arthur Japin, Harry Mulisch, Cees Nooteboom, Renate Dorrestein, Annelies Verbeke and Bart Moeyaert; youth literature by Peter Goes, Sylvia Van den Heede, Tanneke Wigersma; and nonfiction by Anne Frank, Geert Mak, Minka Nijhuis and Vincent van Gogh.
