Mariângela Guimarães

Mariângela Guimarães (b. 1965) studied Communications and worked for over twenty years as a journalist in Brazil and in the Netherlands. Since 2014 she has switched careers and now works as literary translator of fiction, nonfiction, theater and children's literature. Her translations include works by Arnon Grunberg, Toine Heijmans, August Willemsen, Etty Hillesum, Gerbrand Bakker, Lot Vekemans, Harrie Lemmens and Peter Goes, among others.
