Mila Vojinović holds a master’s degree in Dutch language, literature, and culture from the University of Belgrade. She has been engaged as the assistant lecturer in Dutch language and culture at the Department of Dutch Studies at the University of Belgrade since 2014, and as the lecturer since 2019. Her first literary translations were published in 2013 in 'Paukenslag!' (Department of Dutch Studies student magazine), and she continues publishing translations of fragments and articles in the yearbook for Dutch and Flemish literature in translation, 'Erazmo'. She regularly takes part in regional workshops in literary translating, organized and supported by the University of Belgrade and Zagreb, as well as Dutch Foundation for Literature (Nederlands Letterenfonds) and the Dutch Language Union (Taalunie), and is the co-translator of various regional translation projects which focus on Dutch literature related to the Balkans. Her first individual translation was the Serbian translation of The Discomfort of Evening (De avond is ongemak), by Marieke Lucas Rijneveld, published in February 2021.
