Mustafa Özen

Mustafa Özen (b. 1967) studied Graphic Design at the Marmara University in Istanbul and Film Studies at the University of Amsterdam. After obtaining his PhD-degree in 2007 at Utrecht University, he worked for several years at the Dutch Film Museum. In 2012 he decided to become a full-time translator and he attended various literary translation workshops and courses. He has translated fiction and nonfiction books by Dutch authors such as Inge Schilperoord, Ronald Giphart and Mark van Vught, and work by Flemish poets such as Maarten Inghels and Charlotte Van den Broeck.
