Oana Marin

Oana Marin (b. 1979) studied Romanian and French Language and Literature in Bucharest. She began to learn Dutch later, when working for a major IT company with customers from the Benelux market. 'The Evenings' by Gerard Reve made her definitely fall in love with this language and she decided to pursue a literary translation path. Translations from Dutch encompass titles by Dimitri Verhulst, Griet Op de Beeck, Lize Spit, Hanny Michaelis and Jan Wolkers.
