Ovidiu Achim
Ovidiu Achim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philology (Dutch and Latin) from the University of Bucharest. He was also given the opportunity to study at the Antwerp University with an Erasmus mobility. Then, he followed a Master’s program in Visual Cultural Studies at the University of Bucharest and wrote his dissertation thesis on Pieter Paul Rubens’ relation with the (Neo-)Stoic tradition. Ovidiu is a young and enthousiast translator with a passion for language and linguistics. His main domains of interest are cultural history, art and philosophy. Two books that he really enjoyed translating are Rutger Bregman's 'De meeste mensen deugen' and Geert Verbanck's '365 films die je gezien moet hebben'.
