Pavla van Dam Marková

Pavla van Dam Marková studied languages and finance in Prague and Rotterdam. She has been translating from Dutch since 2003. Her translations include fiction, nonfiction, literature for children and young adults, as well as scenarios. She does not only work as a translator, but also has a job in the insurance industry. Some of the literary works she has translated include Sonny Boy (Sonny Boy) by Annejet van der Zijl, I Was America (Ik was Amerika) by Gustaaf Peek and the theater script Out of Mind (Hersenschimmen) based on the book by J. Bernlef.
