Thea Summerfield

Thea Summerfield worked as a lecturer of Old and Middle English in the English department of the University Utrecht until 2007. She also taught courses for translators at the Instituut voor Tolken en Vertalen in Utrecht for many years. She is now retired, but still translates and publishes.

Her translations include ‘Of Reynaert the Fox’ by Bart Besamusca and André Bouwman, ‘The Secrets of Women in Middle Dutch’ by Orlanda Lie and Willem Kuiper and ‘The Seafaring Saint’ by Clara Strijbosch.
