Marnix Verduyn (Nix)

Nix (b. 1969), the pseudonym of Marnix Verduyn, gave up his job as a telecommunications engineer in order to start drawing professionally. He published cartoons in various newspapers and magazines, including Billy Bob for Spirou. In 2001, he launched the cartoon series Kinky & Cosy, which won him the prize for the Best Humorous Comic Book in 2001 and the ‘Le petit Spirou’ award in 2006. Nix also worked on an animated series featuring Kinky & Cosy, which was launched in 2015 in an exhibition in Angoulême.
