Rik Coolsaet

Rik Coolsaet (b. 1951) is Professor of International Politics at the University of Ghent and Senior Associate Fellow at the Egmont Institute, Royal Institute for International Relations, an independent think tank based in Brussels. He is regularly called upon by the Belgian media to interpret important political events. His earlier books include 'The Myth of Al Qaida' and 'Belgium and its Foreign Policy 1830–2000'.
