Roderik Six (b. 1979) is an author and a literary journalist and columnist. He has also published numerous short stories in literary magazines at home and abroad. His debut novel Flood (Vloed, 2012) struck like lightening and was awarded, among others, the ‘Bronzen Uil’ for the best Dutch language debut. In Fall (Val, 2015) Six proves himself a master of suggestion: his ironic narrative style and sparse, subtle use of language create the perfect atmosphere and tension.
