Anne-Laure Vignaux

Anne-Laure Vignaux (b. 1963) has studied history of art/archaeology in Louvain-la-Neuve and literary translation at the Centre européen de traduction littéraire (Brussels). She became a full-time freelance translator in 2000. She translates nonfiction, academic texts (history, religion, human sciences) and art books from several languages into French. Some of her translations include ‘She Came from the East’ (Chris De Stoop, 2004), ‘Promised Land’ (Pascal Verbeken, 2010) and Bruegel et l’hiver. Un dialogue entre historiens et historiens de l’art’ (Fine Arts Museum Belgium, 2018).
