Arlette Ounanian

Arlette Ounanian studied literature and literary theory at the University Amsterdam. Thereafter she taught at the Institut Français Maison Descartes for many years while translating texts for museums and artists. She has also provided subtitels for films and television series, and translated a number of poems for the journal Septentrion.

Since 2000 she has translated various novels by authors including Bert Wagendorp, Lieve Joris, Anna Enquist, Peter Buwalda, Laia Fàbregas, David Sandes and Hester Albach, and graphic novels by Eric de Graaf.
