Bettina Bach

Bettina Bach (b. 1965) studied German language and literature in Berlin and later Cultural Studies in Amsterdam. Since 2002, she has been translating novels, books for children and young adults by French as well as Dutch and Flemish authors including Bart Moeyaert, Benny Lindelauf, Jan Siebelink, Marente de Moor, Miek Zwamborn, Vrouwkje Tuinman and Tommy Wieringa. In 2015, Bach was awarded the Else Otten Prize for her translation of Arjan Vissers 'Der blaue Vogel kehrt zurück' (Hotel Linda).
