Florian Kranz
Florian Kranz (b. 1994) studied Multilingual Communication (B. A.) at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne and Literary Translation (M. A.) at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. After his participation in the trinational Georges-Arthur Goldschmidt programme for emerging literary translators in early 2021, he started working full-time as a freelance literary translator and poet. His anagram poetry has been published in different anthologies and magazines.
He translates novels, non-fiction and poetry from French, English and Dutch into German and has experience with retranslations (e. g. by Georges Simenon) as well as historical memoirs (e. g. by Athénaïs Michelet).
