Hedda Vormeland

Hedda Vormeland (b. 1977) majored in literature, Scandinavian languages and Dutch Studies. A full-time translator since 2007, she has translated more than twenty Flemish and Dutch titles into Norwegian, including The Misfortunates by Dimitri Verhulst and War and Turpentine by Stefan Hertmans. For the latter she was nominated for two prominent Norwegian translation prizes, the Kritikerprisen and the Bastianprisen.
