IIja Braun

Ilja Braun (b. 1970) lives and works in Berlin. Since 2005, he has been translating fiction and nonfiction books from Dutch and English into German (e.g. Walter Lucius, Fikry El Azzouzi, Eva Maria Staal) published by Suhrkamp, DuMont, Arche and many other German publishing houses. He also translates journalistic articles and essays for anthologies, journals and websites, and sometimes works as a journalist, covering a wide range of topics, mostly political issues related to the digital world.
