Mireille Cohendy (b. 1953) lived in the Netherlands for a long time, before returning to her native France in 2007. After teaching for many years, she made a switch to translation. Over the years she has translated over 20 books, including works by Carl Friedman, Harry Mulisch, Rob Riemen, Ida Simons and Jan Brokken. She also translated a number of children’s and young adult books, including titles by Peter van Gestel and Benny Lindelauf.
