Ronald Brouwer

Ronald Brouwer (b. 1964) is the artistic coordinator of Teatro de La Abadía in Madrid. He has translated plays by, among others, Hugo Claus, Peter De Graef, Maria Goos, Tom Lanoye, Ger Thijs, Lot Vekemans and Paul Verrept from Dutch into Spanish. These translations were performed and/or published in Spain and in several countries in Latin America. Brouwer has also translated poetry by Hugo Claus, Charlotte Van den Broeck and Judith Herzberg, as well as Gerard Reve's novel The Evenings, Louis Paul Boon’s My Little War, and Toon Horsten’s The Priest and the Philosopher.
