Flanders Poetry Celebration

On June 20th, three Flemish poets visited London to present brand new collaborations made with British counterparts just for this event, which was organised by the European Poetry Festival. Read their report below.

Celebrating the remarkable contemporary Flemish literary scene and exploring both literary and experimental poetry, this event was held in the beautiful environs of Flanders House, in the heart of London. The event opened with solo readings by Ruth Lasters, Peter Verhelst and Annemarie Estor before the new collaborations featuring Ruth Lasters and Vanessa Onwuemezi, Peter Verhelst and Eley Williams, Annemarie Estor and Laura Davis, Tuur Van Balen and Revital Cohen, Miruna Fulgeanu and Michael O’Mahony, Daniel Kramb and Snezana Djordjevic, Hannah Kaip and Petra Pálkovácsová.
