Auke Oosterhoff

Auke Oosterhoff (b. 1947) studied geology, Spanish and Catalan. He has contributed to various dictionaries and encyclopedias for the publishers Enciclopèdia Catalana and Editorial Planeta. Additionally, he translates children’s and youth books into Catalan for Cruïlla publishers, including work by Jan Terlouw, Liva Willems, Ad Soeters, Toon Tellegen, Edward van de Vendel and Anoush Elman. For Arcàdia Publishers he translated more philosophical-leaning works by Ian Buruma and Rob Riemen.
