Christine Bais

Christine Bais (1972) was born in Dusseldorf and studied Theatre, Film and Television Studies; Literature and Linguistics in Berlin from 1992 to 1998. She has been living and working in Amsterdam since 2000 and has been working as a freelance translator from Dutch to German since 2009. She translates nonfiction and drama for both youth and adult theatre. She has translated plays by authors including Gerardjan Rijnders, Rik van den Bos, Anna Carlier, Enver Husičić, Alex van Warmerdam, Willem de Wolf and Nico Boon.
