Jane Hedley-Prole

Jane Hedley-Prole (b. 1958) has been translating works of literary fiction and nonfiction from Dutch into English for over ten years. She has translated numerous short stories and her book-length translations include the following:

  • ‘We are Our Brains’ (Wij zijn ons brein) by Dick Swaab
  • ‘What About Me?’ (Identiteit) by Paul Verhaeghe
  • ‘The Fetish Room’ by Rudi Rotthier and Redmond O’Hanlon
  • ‘Diaghilev: A Life’ by Sjeng Scheijen (co-translation with S.J. Leinbach)
