Lisa Mensing

Lisa Mensing (1989) lives and works in Münster where she studied Interdisciplinary Dutch Studies, with a focus on Literary Translation and Cultural Transfer. During that time, she spent a semester at Utrecht University, taking courses of the Master's programmes Literary Translation and Dutch Literature and Culture. She also worked as a student assistant at the Centre for Dutch Studies at the University of Münster. In 2017, she took part in ‘The Chronicles’, a talent development programme linked to the Crossing Border Festival in The Hague. In the context of this programme, she not only translated columns for the festival, but was also able to join a two-week workshop at the Translators’ House in Amsterdam.
