Meike Blatnik

Meike Blatnik (b. 1974) studied German literature and philosophy in Berlin. During her studies, she also worked as a freelancer for various radio and TV stations. For her graduation thesis, she did research on literary criticism. Since 2002, she has been working for the communications department at a publishing house in Berlin. Her love of the Dutch language and literature prompted her to start translating in 2006. Her list of translations includes books for children and young adults by Marjolijn Hof, Bibi Dumon Tak and Kathleen Vereecken, and the novels ‘Dorst’ by Esther Gerritsen and Us by Elvis Peeters. Meike Blatnik lives with her family in Berlin.
