Rolf Erdorf
Rolf Erdorf (b. 1956) has been a full-time translator since 1991. He has a great deal of experience in translating catalogues for museums and exhibitions, and has won the following awards for his translations of literature for children and young adults:
- 1996 Förderpreis für literarische Übersetzungen der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg
- 2005 Martinus Nijhoff Prijs
- 2006 Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis
- 2006 Gustav-Heinemann-Friedenspreis
Erdorf has translated work by authors including Ted van Lieshout, Gideon Samson, Marije Vellekoop, Edward van de Vendel, Marita de Sterck, Dolf Verroen and Floortje Zwigtman.
