The Blue Hand

Vinegar, the dew of ‘the blue hand’, a metaphor for the souring of society. At Boris & Kitchenknife’s performances (see: Boris & Kitchenknife), the audience invariably had torrents of this stuff poured over them, resulting in an aromatic experience. In some places, the traces are still visible.

The brand of 'De Blauwe Hand' ('The Blue Hand') was picked because of its logo and name, which sounds like a secret order, fitting well with the world of these rats.
